We take you back, on a circular walk, to 1750, walking along Clydeside to Glasgow's first bank, Saltmarket, mansion houses. Rbt Burns and Bonnie Prince Charlie even get mentions. Hutchesons Hall, Merchant Square, City Halls, Glassford's grave, Ramshorn Kirk, Virginia Mansions/Corinthian, GOMA, and finish at Merchants courtyard on Miller Street.

Glasgow Canal/Speirs Wharf
As the Clyde grew more popular, so too did the canals, Union, Monkland & Forth & Clyde.Join us as we pick up the Glasgow cut, heading along its banks to the Nolly Bridge, via Firhill and the new Claypits Nature Reserve, -noting its many previous industries, incl cinemas,taverns and landmark buildings.

Clyde Bridges Walk
Beginning at Bells Bridge, next to SECC and Hydro, we walk along the Clyde's north bank out to Glasgow Green, passing many fine buildings and bridges as we go. See where the Molendinar flows into Clyde, the Broomielaw boats tied up, Britain's first lifeboat service began and Prince Charlie amassed his troops.
2 hour walk, finishing at Peoples Palace, where there are facilities, cafe and famous Doulton Fountain.
Grahamston-Glasgow's Forgotten Village
Buchanan St marked one side of this village in the 1700's, whilst Waterloo St was its westernmost point. Orchards,hotels, a sugar factories, brewery, corn exchange and Gaelic church all stood here before Central Station replaced this whole community. The guide's ancestors were once resident, and some strange stories exist.|As seen on BBC TV's 'Inside Central Station.'

The Buchanan Street Fifty
Buchanan St is one of Britain's most beautiful streets , when it comes to its Victorian and Edwardian architecture. Starting at the Royal Concert Hall, we walk down towards Argyle St passing by many old merchants houses, mansions, newspaper offices, Cranston's tearooms, subway, church and enter both Argyle and Princess Sq arcades, as well as Frasers and its associated other depot stores. Throw in elegant Cunard buildings and Victorian toilets and it all makes for a really interesting km.-Glasgow's 'Style Mile'
