Hello everyone. Just a reminder that we,at Walking Glasgow, are still fully active throughout this year, with almost daily themed, FREE walks across our historical city. City awarded recognition.


So much to celebrate, we offer 12 different walks,mostly flat and less than 3 miles. From Clyde Bridges to Glasgow Canal, Buchanan St buildings to Old Grahamston, Tobacco Lords, Early / Medieval Glasgow, Murals, Drumlins, Old Govan to Mackintosh/Greek Thomson and Trades House.

Groups, ex-pats, visiting friends and family etc, all catered for, with all walks rotated ,both day and time wise.I also offer a 1 hr PowerPoint talk on Grahamston-Glasgow's Forgotten Village, for any groups, societies,libraries etc. Got own equipment.

Sat 6th- Glasgow Canal/ Claypits Nature Reserve,10-12

Mon 8th- Clyde Bridges, 1-3

Tues 9th- Mackintosh/Greek Thomson, 10-12 &

Grahamston-Forgotten Village, 1-2.30

Wed 10th- Old Govan- 1-3

Fri 12th-Early/ Medieval Glasgow, 10-12

Sat 13th-Buchanan St buildings,10-12

Mon 15th- Glasgow's Drumlins, 10-12

Tues 16th-Tobacco Lords/ Merchant City, 10-12 &

Trades House, 1-3pm


Usual meet places;

Buchanan St buildings, - Concert Hall steps at top end.

Mackintosh- outside Clutha bar, Clydeside

Early Glw,Tob Lords, Grahamston, Murals, Secret Glw - outside the Bank of Scotland on Argyle St, bottom of Buchanan St

Trades House- outside M&S, Argyle/ Glassford Street.

Old Govan- outside Govan X bus station/ subway

Glasgow Canal/ Claypits Nature Reserve. SeeWoo/Glw Angling Centre carpark, G22, safe fence ,free parking

Drumlins- Outside Glw Royal on Castle St/ Cathedral St.



Although always free to attend, there is no obligation to tip, but any small contribution is passed on to our various RNLI Scottish Lifeboat stations. Thank you, and look forward to hearing from you. Kevin
