Quick update on next few walks;
Mon 29th-Tobacco Lords/Merchant City. 1-3pm. (Full)
Tues 30th-Glasgow Canal & Claypits Nature Reserve. Meet outside Glasgow Angling Centre/ SeeWoo store on Saracen St- free, enclosed safe parking. 2-4pm. Plenty of spaces. (Pic below) A peaceful walk with different Glasgow views.
Wed 1st May- Early/Medieval Glasgow. 10-12. (Full)
Thurs 2nd-Grahamston- Glasgow's Forgotten Village. (Full)
Fri 3rd-Thurs 9th ( I'm in Skye, for a weeks touring)
Fri 10th--Buchanan St. Buildings. 1-2.30pm. 50 great places/stories on Glasgow's 'Style Mile'. Meet at steps outside Royal Concert Hall (at top of Buchanan St) By Dewar statue.
Sat 11th- Tobacco Lords/Merchant City. 10-12. Meet at St Enochs Square/Bank of Scotland. 62 streets, national poet, football, library ,graverobbing, engineering and Tennents. All involved- slavery museum in the offing? Hear the latest admissions and news of Glasgow's involvement.
Tues-14th-Marvellous Murals 10-12. Have you seen them all yet? 24 of them in 2024, in central Glw. Circular tour.Please meet @Bank of Scot, St Enochs Sq, bottom of Buchanan St. Bring cameras along
Wed 15th.Secret Glasgow. 12.30-3pm.Come along, and see if we can surprise you with some unusual sites around the city centre. Almost a 'best of' of the other 9 walks I do, lol. Meet outside Bank of Scot at St Enochs Square.
Tues- 21st May-Early/Medieval Glasgow. St Mungo/Enoch. Earliest buildings,streets, University, High St, 10-12. Pls meet outside Bank of Scotland on Argyle St at St Enoch's Square.
Please just request a place/places, or advise if you can't then attend. We tend to wait on for a few minutes, if trains, buses running late, eg.
As ever, please advise if wishing to join any of the walks and though definitely FREE, any small contribution to the RNLI, would be gratefully passed on (only if you enjoyed yourselves, lol)
