One of our walkers, Gerry Kavanagh, has asked me to let you all know of a possibly very interesting talk next Tuesday evening. I plan to attend, and broaden my balanced knowledge of that majorly important period in Glasgow's meteoric growth.
Johnstone History Society Talk
The next meeting of the Johnstone History Society will take place on Tuesday 14th May in the Masonic Hall in Collier Street Johnstone.
The planned talk on Rudolf Hess by Ian Valentine has unfortunately had to be pushed back until next year. Instead David Vennard will deliver a talk on the Glasgow tobacco lords.
7.15 for 7.30pm start.
All welcome. Members free, Visitors £2.
